Am I the dish or the spoon?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Tomorrow evening we're going to the premiere screening of the TinMan's first short film - it's part of an evening of shorts being readied for next year's festival season. It's the very first time that he'll get to see himself on the 'Big Screen'. Pretty heady stuff for someone who grew up wanting to do this, but waited til he was 55 years old to give it a shot.
It's also being held in a town that he used to go to with his family when he was a child, so it's like his life coming full circle.
I'm so very proud of him. And as some of you probably realize by now, I'll be crying through the whole damn thing.
I'm such a sap.

Yeah, you are! But, it suits you so well.
Good thing you're not the TinMan, because we don't have enough oil.
