Baked ziti... but I cheated a bit.

Usually I'll make the sauce from scratch, but today I used plain jar sauce and added my spices & veggies & all. Shhhh, Buzz doesn't need to know! :)

I have to start thinking about dinner too. With RC working late (HA! Now there is a first!) and BRR at orientation I am on my own.

20-25 minute preparation - 30 minutes in the oven - 15 minutes clean up.......

Consumed in 10 minutes.

That ratio is just not right!

I decided to treat myself tonight and am having Penne w/vodka sauce. There's a place down the shore that makes the best, so I decided to defrost one of the containers I had in there.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

That SOME one had salmon last night, so it's a chicken night.

And, DD, you'd love how lean I've made everything. It's a wonder the weight doesn't drop off just by the act of chewing alone.

Of course in due time I'm heading right back to the pasta in vodka sauce.

Yeah, well he had fish for lunch AND dinner two days in a row, so I had to put a stop to it. Daughter-Dearest is stuck at work until 9:00 so she'd better grab something downtown.

Have you tried Copper River Salmon? They carry it (during the season) at Whole Foods. It's SO good.

I have never been to a "Whole Foods" store. I don't even know where the nearest one would be located. I did find out they opened a second Trader Joe's around here though.

Hello friend - It seems like forever since I've been around. I had my short NY trip and then was home for 1 1/2 day and then went to a graduation party up north for my niece. Today was catch up and errand day. Now I'm trying to catch up on BWW but my eye is really bothering me. I think I have some kind of infection. It hurts to keep it open and there is yellow goopy stuff in it. I will have to go to the doctor if it is not better by tomorrow. I am typing with my eyes shut so if I have a lot of mistakes forgive me. I have not read back but I was going to ask if anyone had heard from Miss P but I did a search and it looks like everything is okay. I hope she gets home safe tomorrow. I have been traveling so much since school has been out that all I want to do now is stay home!! Had a really good time in NY but it was hot. I saw Xanadu, 110 in the Shade and
The Color Purple. Enjoyed them all. I am planning on coming to the Flea Market so hope to see many BWW's there.

Hey, Baddy! Thanks for thinking of me. We come home tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. Things are VERY tense over here.

But we are sad to leave London because we have a dear friend here whom we will miss.

I get so attached to people, I swear! Such separation anxiety!
