SO I get notice from verizon because it's the time to renew contract and get a new phone, right? But the phones out there seem so pedestrian after being around someone with an iPhone all weekend.

Polly - Nice to meet you, too! Yes, I live in Atlanta...and have for many years.
All is fine here - just finishing work for the day and looking forward to the Holiday tomorrow. We are having a neighborhood Barbecue - chicken, ribs, burgers and all the trimmings - very traditional. Afterwards, we will watch the fireworks show - which is closeby.
Gotta run now, but I'll check in soon. Miss you guys!

Just got back from the doctor and picking up a prescription. She said it looks like pink eye and it is probably viral but she gave me an antibiotic anyway just in case. It started moving to the other eye today. I look really bad as you can imagine and I am contaqious so everyone beware! What sucks is that I can't even read or watch TV comfortably. All I want to do is close my eyes but I'm not sleepy. Not fun!
