Happy 4th Mamie, Miss P, Harris and all adults venturing in today. Rainy day here in Michigan but my hubby is out trying to fulfill his golf fantasy inspite of the weather and I'm feeling sorry for myself because my eyes are driving me crazy! My anibiotic drops don't seem to be helping much so it must be viral like the doc thought. Glad you made it home safe and sound Miss P. Can't wait to hear all about your trip!

I'm sorta here. Trying to figure out what I feel like doing.
My cousin and her husband are in Cali this week visiting their son. He's in San Clemente. I had a message this morning from my best friend from childhood who lives in Costa Mesa, that she had lunch with my cousin and her hubbie yesterday, and she's going over their son's house for a bbq on Sunday. Hm. What's wrong with this picture? I should be there, too!
I can't wait to talk to my friend later Sunday. Except for pictures, I don't think she's seen Rod (the son) since he was in his early teen's. He's 33 now! I think she's in for a bit of a shock.
DD didn't check in last night! I hope he liked the movie. Can't wait to hear what he thought.
What's everybody up to today? Maybe you'll give me some ideas.

Well today is our 6 year anniversary, but we will probably go and mow my mom's lawn and BBQ with her. Fun life, ain't it?

We're home for the first time in 10 days and my kids are like, "What are we going to do TODAY???" They are such social animals!

Well, I'm definitely not mowing any lawns, so I can cross that off the list. 
None of my friends seem to be up to anything today. Everyone feels so lazy today. I know it's supposed to be humid out there, but with the doors and windows open, it just feels chilly to me. And it's so grey out. I want to just stay in and watch movies, but I feel like I should be out partying!
Miss P. up until Monday morning, I had planned to work Thursday and Friday. Then I just said screw it, and took the days off. Of course, I hadn't just gotten back from a fabu vacation in London!

Happy 4th everyone.
Off to mom's shortly to help set some stuff up, then my sister comes in at about 2:30, and then the guests begin to arrive around 4:00.

I'm stuck at home today so I decided to treat myself to a yummy meal. I'm having some incredibly rich and thick clam chowder from my favorite restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, followed by cracked crab, tossed salad, corn on the cob, and crusty sour-dough bread. Desert is a strawberry pie I made this morning. They'll have to roll me out of here!
