Hello...any adults still around? Yesterday turned out to be not so bad a day for me. Because it wasn't good beach weather my daughter and I drove up to the outlet mall and spent a few hours looking around Pottery Barn Outlet. I love that place. We also ventured into a few other stores and purchased a few items. She actually bought more than me. She was excited about some running clothes she found since she is hopefully running the Chicago marathon this year. I sort of went in disquise as I kept my sunglasses on the whole time so no one could see my eyes and get scared away! The funny part is that I just wore the sunglasses over my regular glasses because I do not have prescrition sunglasses or clip ons. Let's just say I hope no one really looked at me. Today was sort of another holiday because my hubby was taking his landscape crew on an outing to the Detroit Tigers game. It was very hot sitting in the sun but it was a great game and the Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians 12 to 3. Go Tigers. My eyes are a little better but not 100%. They itch and irritate me. I'm supposed to work tomorrow night at my part time job but if they don't clear up more I may not be able to...oh darn! lol

Hey Miss P - It always takes a few days to adjust to a different time zone let alone being on vacation. Getting back to normal life can be such a pain after a fun vacation.

I have Norn's Follies hanging on the wall in my office...right next to his Grey Gardens and Drowsy Chaperone prints! They are so delightful. I immediately get cheered up when I look at them.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
