Man, it looks like I missed a hell of a thunderstorm while I was in the city.

Aw, YWIW! I'm sad!

Whew. Back from the benefit. Erika was MARVELOUS. Really, REALLY fantastic. The whole evening was hysterical and a joy.

Met up with Miss. Popular over at the benefit, and afterwards ventured to Canter's for 'dinner'.

Now, my liver must get to work metabolizing the perhaps a bit too much I had to drink tonight! Whoops!

So g'night.

Please God, don't let me have a hangover. I'm going to the dentist in the A.M.!

Well, my summer vacation has started and I thought peacefully but so far not so peaceful. First, my daughter called and said my 17 yr old grandson is in the emergency room being checked out for appendicitis and she needed my to help her go pick up a car. When I walked back in my house the first thing I saw was a major pile of green feathers from my husbands pet parakeet. My husband loves Dopey and would save that bird instead of me if he had to make a choice in a fire! My heart was beating as I looked for the bird. We have two cats and a maniac dog who would kill this bird in a minute. I was expecting the worst but luckily I found the bird still alive but it definitely won't fly for awhile. I don't see any blood so hopefully he will be okay. I don't need this stress first thing in the morning on my first day off for the summer!!!!!

harris...I am not picking up trash and RobbO cleans up at my house..he NEVER leaves trash around for me...I'm assuming he takes it with him and throws it on your lawn.

Just got a call from my daughter that confirmed they are going to remove his appendix but they are going in from the belly button. Hopefully he will recover quickly. The bird is eating so I'm hoping for a complete recovery.
