Wanna meet me for dinner in Pasadena, DG? I'm bored!
Thanks kids
bye shamey!
DG - you better be prepared to come up to Seattle on a moment's notice...
He totally would, too.

*sigh* Having had to start ANOTHER round of Prednizone last Friday, I'm back in 'seclusion' mode - not fit for man nor beast (nor any combination thereof.) But I wish I could, Shira
You're on prednisone and having such drastic reactions? *hugs* Wow.

You haven't heard? I spend the first 3-5 hours laying on the living room floor twitching and shaking like a fish out of water. Oh, and sweating profusely, as well. THEN, I feel like I'm on the verge of a panic attack for the rest of the day - well into the night. I haven't spept more than 4 hours a day since I started this crap - and we're now entering the fourth week of it!
Can't they give you percocet AND prednisone at the same time? Or XANAX? Or something?

I have an 'anti-itch' med that actually has a tranquilizer additive - which keeps the itching down, but hasn't overcome the Prednisone.
And honestly, HOW MANY PILLS CAN YOU TAKE?!?!?
This is SO out of my territory! I just expect my body to WORK, Dammit!
Sweetie, can your doctor change that prescription? Your symptoms sound rather drastic.
That's what I said? Do you want me to drive some tranqs over?
I understand the whole "want your body to work" thing, but I'm a big fan of the medical world.

Believe it or not, I'm apparently getting off easy. I don't have any of the vomitting, migraine, etc. affects that could occur. It just plays havoc with my nervous system (which, in turn, is causing disturbance in my emotional state.)
Shira, shut up.
I'm dealing with a high dossage because it is arresting the outbreak while we wait for test results. I would NEVER agree to this if it were a long-term basis approach.
Of course, at this point, it's becoming a little too 'long-term' for my taste!
*hugs*
Yikes... DG, I had totally the same response to Prednisone. I was "hyper" sensitive to everything... that's when we moved to Seattle, and going through the crowded airport, taking care of Walter while my ex returned the car... I wound up giving the sky cap a $20 tip.

When the doc was warning me about potential side effects, he told me that the last person he gave this to they ended up calling the cops on because of a psychotic episode.
And I STILL said OK!
Alright, I admit it - I have few barriers when it comes to alteration - espeacially if it's supposed to HELP!
Good service is worth all, DD.
I can believe it... and you have to come off of it very carefully... I was on it for 3 months.

Hmmmm - I wonder what would happen if Boobs got up early . . .
I have actually been here when he posts the morning chuckle... it's a little disconcerting, actually.
$10 says he's "Up" but doesn't realize it yet.
A morning without a chuckle?! Can we cope?

DD - me, too!
Shira - who raised you?
And Hep - no, we couldn't.
Now that would be disconcerting...
It's too early for chuckles. When the chuckle comes, it's bedtime for me!
DG - I think you know the answer.
I need to get to bed soon... full day of work and then...
