I am seeing Austentatious with Stefanie D' from Avenue Q. It sounded fun and I thought the girls would like it because it is about a theater group putting on a new production of Pride and Prejudice. In fact it's advertised as Waiting for Guffman meets A Chorus Line...speaking of Waiting for Guffman. I really want to see the first preview of Frankenstein. I think I told you that my daughter in law has tickets for the first preview.
No, I didn't know about that! Where does your daughter-in-law live?
Today marked an exciting event in our house: Little Sir lost his first tooth! He's not a baby anymore!
Exciting news about the first tooth. Did it just fall out or did someone have to help. That was always a dramatic event at our house. Is the tooth fairy making an appearance tonight? My daughter in law lives here in Ann Arbor but she is going on a trip to New York with her mother and sister. I am the one who told her about Young Frankenstein previews.
Hi Kansas - Are you on vacation or business?
"And for those of you who have actually met and know me, this is NOT an appropriate place for a comment!"
You're no fun.
Miss P - I'll sneak into YF with you!!
Hi Shira - Almost time to go back to New York - when do you start back to school?
School starts September 4th, day after Labor Day, as always. I go back to NY Monday. *squeals*
Girls! Girls! Girls! I meant I'd "sneak" up to NYC. I'm SURE I'll have to buy a ticket for Young Frankenstein!!!
The Tooth Fairy is definitely going to be here tonight but is uncertain of the amount this tooth should yield. Any suggestions?????
So Shira, can you afford a tik?

I start back to school (work) Sept 4 also. Am not looking forward to it. I'm jealous that you get to live in NY and have access to all the shows. I am coming for the flea market again this year.
YAY Flea Market! I can't wait for school to start. Hard classes, but great topics.
Miss P. Um, depends on where we sit. We can still get good seats in the balcony! After all, it's as close to heaven as I'll ever get!
I wonder what that Tooth Fairy wears to work.
Well, I don't think the tooth fairy should go overboard. In our house he/she only left one or two dollars..occasionly more when the fairy would "forget" and feel guilty. Of course we had a few more teeth at our house. ha ha
Hi Hep
So, that's the Tooth Fairy.
Well this is the FIRST tooth. Doesn't the Tooth Fairy feel that the FIRST tooth is "special"?
Gracie, I don't wanna sit in nosebleed seats. Can't you do some temp work or something so you can buy a "real" ticket???
Should we keep a box of tissues handy for you, Miss P?
I'll see what I can do.
EDIT: Wait, what kind of job can I do to get quick money that doesn't involve anything illegal?
The box of tissues will be needed on Monday when Little Sir starts kindergarten. I remember when my little sister started kindergarten. My mom came back from the school crying. "What's wrong?" I asked. "It's going to be so sad not having a baby in the house." Now I know how she felt.
Miss P - just found your Ida thread..great stories!! Yes first tooth is special but remember you are setting precedents. And I think Little Sir has a good memory!! I remember when my youngest went to kindergarden. I felt like the grandmother not the mother. Now she is getting married. Time flies when you're having fun.
We are here for you, Miss P.
Aww. I think my Mom's finally past that point regarding me.
Aww.
Aw! Pretty soon it will be a gap-tooth smile. Very sweet.
Shira, my mother is not over it, yet.
Cute!
