I am one of the biggest advocates of my little cousins and friends not drinking. I saw my younger cousin that just turned 21 this past Sunday. He lit up a cigarette and I hit him very hard. After all the crap he gave me about smoking through the years, and now he was smoking. I was not a happy Tink!

Hey adults - it has been crazy lately.

Drinking, smoking and talking of Scotch - sounds like all is normal with the adults.

Think good thoughts - I have a prospective buyer looking at my condo tomorrow. The damn place is so clean I barely recognize it.

I was going down that path in my youth, and if it wasn't for a very special friend, I might not have ever made it out. We may joke about my drinking habits on here, but if you knew me at 15/16 it wasn't pretty. I got myself into a lot of trouble, that I have used to make me a stronger person now, but I would have preferred to avoid overall. That is life...you live and learn.

Just tonight we were talking about drugs, I have not had any illegal substance since 1987. Not even a puff in 20 years.

Luckily that was the one path I didn't stray down too far. I tried pot a few times and did Ecstasy once, but that was it. I could tell from the beginning it wasn't my thing. My best friends got into coke for a while, and dealing with that made me learn quick that it was not a road to travel.

I was just booze.
