Wow, Soap. You're pretty awesome and considerate.

I'd like to thank the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for only taking 6 hours to get electricity back. Thank goodness I slept through most of it, but my poor dog was flipping out when I got back from dinner. "Where's my nightlight?!"

Good morning all. I usually love a big breakfast on Sunday mornings - but this heat is turning me off to that. So - it's a BLT breakfast for any who're interested!



I am really going to be happy when August leaves us and September gets here. Usually the weather gets better and I have the flea market to look forward to. I might even take a little exploring day trip with the Smithsonian then. I always enjoy touring around this area when fall gets here.

I had dinner with my mother's father's cousins niece -- I think that's right. She is a Bedard. She was lovely and totally tolerated my horrific French. It was grand to be among my peeps. I only had two days in Quebec and can't wait to return and spend time with more family.
