I'm still alive, bout all I can say. Yesterday was kind of brutal, and I'm sure with the service and re-pass today, it won't be any better. But my mom is being a trooper and so will I.

Posted: 4/27/07 at 8:51am*hugs Tink* Funny story about re-pass....my grandmother and her silly superstitions believe that if you don't go to the re-pass after the cemetery, you bring the dead home with you....well this one time my great uncle passed away I had to go from the cemetery back home real quick to change to go to work....so I opened the door and said to grandma..."look who I brought home for you..C'mon in Uncle Frank"...well she went nuts..she had my brother and me go out on the front porch and turn around 3 times...boy can I write a book on her !!!!

Good morning all!
Lousy Friday here. Pouring rain and the Prom/Post Prom is tonight. We gave the kids the day off from school, but I'm here playing catch up. We got caught in the middle of a media frezy yesterday and I was fielding reporters phone calls and news crews who were trying for interviews with adults and students. We really needed today off to recover.

Tink - continued good thoughts for you and your mom. The hard part for your mom will come when everyone goes home and she has to face a new life without him.
