Well, since I can't make it to BB's big bash, I'm going to an air and sea show on the beach on Saturday. On Sunday, I'm playing softball with some friends. The goal there is just not to hurt myself.

Robb, I can't tell if you're kidding or not.

We did have a stunt bi-plane go down in the ocean about 2 years ago.

I love the show, but I do have a little bit of a knot in my stomach throughout the whole day.

Good morning, kiddies. I'm playing hooky today so I could spend one more day with my mom before she goes home. It's gorgeous outside but she doesn't want to do anything so we'll probably spend the day inside.

I hope the weather (and my luck) holds out. It'll be NY tomorrow and Sunday. Yeah me!

I used to go to the big air shows in Washington DC every year. I loved it!

Popping back in for a little bit. 1/2 of the firedrill is done. Now I wait for info.

I thought Friday's were supposed to be smooth sailing into the weekend? When did that stop?

shamey, i'm serious. my better half forces me to watch every "world's scariest police chase," "world's scariest explosions," "world's scariest accidents," and "world's scariest programming ever" shows on some crazy network.

they had a whole section on airshows and the accidents that occur. they're dangerous!

and, tink, you're so out of the bridge club. and return your early-bird dinner coupon to madge at the vfw. never seen matlock, my ass!

I agree. That's probably the best part of having the show out over the ocean. They have the Coast Guard and Navy ships out there keeping boats from anchoring under where the planes fly over. So, if there is an accident, G*d forbid, it's over open water.

I didn't mind TLK when I saw it. I very rarely hate anything. The closest I've come has probably been Chicago, I think. The only show I've ever contemplated leaving at intermission.
