Hep - Mr. Newman is ALWAYS available, whenever you need him. Only a click away
Mmmmmm.
hmm, i'm going to resist make normal Tink comments about DG's last statement! :)
You guys made me remember something hilarious that happened today with Little Sir and his Barbie collection!
At his b-day party on Saturday, Little Sir received a "Puppet Theatre," which is, in essence, a portable "theatre set" about 2 x 2-1/2 feet. It's lovely, with a red curatin and everything. It props right up on the floor. (I would have taken a picture if I hadn't been an invalid.)
He had some Barbies sitting in the audience "watching" and the others on stage." I said, "Is this The Drowsy Chaperone again?" And he said, "No. This is a new play called 'I Have No Husband.'" Isn't that funny??? (Please tell me it is so that I don't look like one of those mothers who just thinks everything her kid does is adorable!)
Now, that's self-control, Tink.
hehe, it is cute Miss P! I see a future playwright in our midsts.
Hep - it doesn't happen often with me, so we bask in it when it does!

Miss P - your son has a long, illustrious and FABULOUS life ahead of him - with a great mother, I might add
That is hilarious, Ms. P. He'll make a great nephew-in-law one day.
I hope you feel better, Ms. P...on that note, I'm off to eat and rehearsal.
Oh, and DD, guess who gave him that wonderful theatre for his birthday? Yes, your niece, his fiancé!
Thanks, DG, that almost makes up for the splendid time I am not having at the Helen Hayes Awards!!! (And of course I LOVE looking at Paul Newman!)
Little Sir just told me that in the play "I Have No Husband," Barbie "hates her husband but she forgets that she really loves him but then when she tells him he says it's too late because he found a new wife."
I didn't know that Ken was that interested.
You mean in another "woman," Hep?
Just stopping in to say "hi" to the night crew.
And, a special "hello" to my drinking buddy. I miss you from 9 to 5, Tinkerbell.
Shamey!!!!! I miss you too! How are you???
Shamey!!!! A night visit!!!!
I'm fine. A little tired and frustrated at the moment. Taxes.
How's the job so far?
Hey Miss P! Where you been hiding during the daylight hours?
We filed last night, finally!
Job's ok, I guess. Taking it day by day. However, that tune will change once the new paycheck amount starts coming in, lol! When are you getting your butt back up to NYC next?
July is looking really good.
I don't think I'll make it up there again before that, but I've said that before.
I have a new job, too, Shamey, so during the day I'm a little preoccupied. Except for the last couple of days when I've been infirmed!!!
I'd rather have Miss P.'s new job!!
Well, we will definitely meet in July (yay!!!!), so any earlier would just be a nice present, hehe!
Don't ask me why, Miss P, but I was thinking your new job would give you more time to play during the day and less at night, which I now realize makes no sense at all.
I'll have to read back a few pages to find out how you became infirmed.
I'll definitely keep ya posted.
Well, kids, I'm feeling a bit under the weather, so I am heading to bed early!
Have a wonderful evening!!
Shamey - so glad we got to see each other! I'll miss you!
Me too, Tink, I'll try to stop in more often on your time. Goodnight!
'Ello boys, girls, and....others.
