An artist name would be good. That way I can say the work of __________. Anything really would be good. I guess I can say the Renissance artist.
The main thing is paintings show "life" in and around the time of Pippin, so if Figured anything about the Crusades would be fine.

You'd probably want to look for some Medieval art, of which there should be a lot. Most of Medieval art is by anonymous monks, though.
I can't think of one particular work right now, though. Lemme do a Google search and see what comes up.

If you're just looking for "everyday life" paintings, any Medieval fresco, mural or tapestry should do, although the vast majority has a religious component.

It doesn't show episodes from the Crusades (it chronicles the events leading up to the Battle of Hastings) but you'll get major brownie points if you mention and illustrate the Bayeux Tapestry - the most important medieval works of art documenting the Norman conquest of England.
