Yes.
Deetie was tall and blonde when I met him, but I was also on my third Dirty.
Oh, SOMMS, I haven't been blond in four years.
My current obsession is tall to no one but me. She'd be a munchkin to you, shames. And only the highlights are blonde.
What highlights?
Yes, they're very subtle.
I just got to work a few minutes ago because I was involved in a hit-and-run car accident this morning. Very unsettling. It's hard to focus.
Oh Ms. P! I'm so sorry. What are you doing at work?
Thank god you're not seriously hurt, but as DD asks: why are you at work?
Wow, Miss P, hope you're okay and that they caught the f*****!
Hi DD!
Hiya shames and deet and rath and sommsy and harris ...
I was not physically hurt, just my car. It's just scary because the guy who hit me refused to pull over and I had to follow him. He kept trying to "lose" me. Finally I called 911 and they said, "Stop following him. If he does stop, you don't know what he'll do. He may have a gun." They had me pull over and wait for the police, who said the same thing. The way it happened, it seems like he hit me intentionally, so the police say it sounds like a road rage incident and like this guy may have a record.
Why shouldn't I be at work? What am I going to do at home????

Scary, MissP! Glad you're not physically hurt. Did you get the plate number?
Ms. P - you should at least make a trip to the ER to make sure you are ok. Getting hit while in a moving car can create many issues; it's worse if you are rear-ended, but any jolt like that could cause whip lash.
At home you can relax. It's quite a shock! Be good to you!!!
Hey DD!
Exactly, Miss P! You should take care of you!
*the cows show up at miss p's work and take her home*
The whole this bizarre. The guy was in a commercial van with the name of the company and phone number staring me in the face! I took down EVERYTHING. I even called the company while I was following him to let them know their driver had just hit me and that i was going to call the police. Of course I got voicemail!
The the police AND the insurance company called and got the same message.
Sue the bastard.
Miss P, that's insane. I glad you weren't hurt.
I'm with Miss P on this one. At least, at work she has a chance of being distracted.

I do think, though, that getting a quick check at an ER would be prudent - better safe than sorry.
And good for you for getting all the info while in pursuit!
I smell an episode of Law and Order, DC in the making. And, is somebody implying that we are a distraction?
Be good to yourself Miss P!
Thank you, guys. You're actually making me feel better. (I had been reluctant to even mention it because I tend not to mention my personal hardships online!)
My boss was GREAT too. She immediately asked if I wanted to go to the hospital and THANKED ME for even coming in. She said, "Just do whatever you have to do to take care yourself and don't worry about anything here."
See why I love my job?

Jeez Louise, MP! What a day you've had - and it's not even 1:00pm! What a blessing you're unharmed. How much damage to the car?
As long as it's for the well-being of Ms. P, being at work is ok then.
