Well, considering the fact that I had tears streaming down my face and practically choked (seriously) trying to explain to Caldwell B. Cladwell about the "I Hate Agnes" thread the other night, I'd say we've been having "fun." Sorry you missed it though. (Or DID you?)

Hi Mamie!

Oh, it was such a special evening! We performed Mendelssohn's "Elijah" with Bryn Terfel singing the title role. And, as if that wasn't enough, the other soloists were the glorious Hei-Kyung Hong, Nancy Maultsby and Eric Cutler. Bryn Terfel's performance was simply magnificent and he brought the powerful and moving music to life!

It was also a special night because our Maestro was able to conduct, after spending most of the year battling a life-threatening disease and having undergone a heart transplant!

A full house and beautiful music on an emotional night! Special.

I wish we could do it all again!

I wish I had a recording of it (video as well as audio). It was just one of those nights I wish I could keep forever!
