Girly! Happy Thanksgiving! (I love deviled eggs.)
*the cows in cute pilgrim costumes bring pumpkin milkshakes for all*
Hey kids! Life is good over here.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Miss P!! If I do say so myself, I do make delicious deviled eggs. I get that request often. The eggs are cooked, but I'm not in the mood to do the rest.

No Philly -- I'll be in Brooklyn.

A New Yorker friend of mine spent the day watching them blow up the Macy's balloons.
I don't know Miss P. Ah well. It should be a good T-Day.
The heck with LB. I'm looking forward to the Xanadu segment!
Harris, where are you going tomorrow?

I had a friend who used to work on the floats each year. One Thanksgiving eve, he went inside the Donald Duck float and fell asleep. He said it was the most relaxing nap he ever had. So now whenever I see the floats on TV, I wonder, "Is anyone sleeping in there?"
They would sleep as long as Donald Duck didn't snore.
Or sneeze!
Oh, dear! Feathers will fly.
girly im working then going to friends
I'll be watching the parade tomorrow.

"The TinMan gets no b-day thread this year?"
No, he doesn't. As has been noticed, my attitude about this site is in the basement - which I won't sully this thread by going into in depth.
I see no reason to approach something with reasonable and good intent, only to be met by the extreme pessimism, attitude and judgement that this off-topic board has devolved to.
I'm thrilled that those who are able to keep in touch do so daily through this thread. It doesn't involve me, and God knows the overall tenor of the board is WAY outside what I find comfortable.
So, the simple answer to the TinMan thread is 'no' - all the rest is just unwanted information, that still might explain some things to those who might want to know.
DG - do give the TinMan my best ... I hope you had a nice celebratory evening.

DD - he got a present he didn't expect, the dinner of his choice, and we got to watch the DVD of HAIRSPRAY - which HE said was the only one he was actually interested in for some time.
So, yeah, the evening was well and grand
Well, DG, we celebrated TinMan's birthday the saem way on this coast. Caldwell made me the dinner of my choice and then we watched HAIRSPRAY (and all the extras) for the 3rd time in two days! So it's bi-coastal birthday bliss!!!
Yesterday was hard for Caldwell because it was the birthday of his brother who passed away in January. He was very sad. But then today we have TinMan and the cycle of life is once again affirmed. Caldwell sends TinMan his best and looks forward to soending some time with him next summer.
The eggs are finished and ready for tomorrow. Um, later, I mean.
Happy Birthday to the Tin Man, DG!!
DD, you just want to check out Cheyenne!
Edited, cause I should be in bed and not trying to type.
