I'm going to Lisbon on the 29th. I just booked the flight. I'm staying with friends who I met here and they're putting me up for the week and are going to show me all around..
I used my sky miles and its going to cost $140 round trip.
Haven't been away in ages and I really need to get away.

I could go anywhere I wanted, sure. The problem would be affording anything once I got there!!

Lisbon is gorgeous, Wexy - you'll have a great time. The sky is such a beautifully rich blue and the views from the hills are breathtaking. If you can, go out to Cascais and/or Estoril. They're charming beach towns about twenty minutes out of Lisbon.
