Hopefully not this year. Snow is a real pain in the lowlands... there is already snow on the mountains, though.
So when is your first ski adventure planned?
Long day, just got back from "The Ritz". Kind of not my thing, didn't laugh during the first Act, Rosie Perez saved that show.
Totally agree, Shira.

Hey, brd! I'm ok. Stopping by for a few minutes before bed, just to wind down.
Hope all is well with you and yours!

Not much winding down here! We are looking at high schools! Scary, since in my mind I am a 26 year old man with an infant!
That's so sweet, brd! Oh, High School. Have fun!
I'm winding down too. Some tapioca pudding always makes life happy, right?
I'm off to bed. G'night Addy. G'night brd. G'night moon.
High School! That's a big step!
Where does the time go?!
I'm winding down with some photos of Deborah Kerr...
But, time for bed. Good Night, all!

Listen missy, I read that to C14!!! Good night!
Just as my Mom and Dad read to me, brd.
We grow up, don't we? My parents are funny. They're all proud of me as I grow up, and my Mom is okay with it. My Dad is the one moping because the house is quiet.

No quiet house here! C14 and C12 are visiting a high school tomorrow and are not asleep yet!
It's exciting!
Where are you going, my little one, little one
Where are you going, my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two, turn around and you're four
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door
Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door
Where are you going, my little one, little one
Little dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny, turn around and you're grown
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own
Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own
Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're the young girl going out of the door
Where are you going, my little one, little one
Where are you going, my ba-by, my own?
Good morning, yesterday
You wake up and time has slipped away
And suddenly it's hard to find
The memories you left behind
Remember, do you remember?
The laughter and the tears
The shadows of misty yesteryears
The good times and the bad you've seen
And all the others in between
Remember, do you remember
The times of your life? (do you remember?)
Reach out for the joy and the sorrow
Put them away in your mind
The mem'ries are time that you borrow
To spend when you get to tomorrow
Here comes the saddest part
The seasons are passing one by one
So gather moments while you may
Collect the dreams you dream today
Remember, will you remember
The times of your life?
Gather moments while you may
Collect the dreams you dream today
Remember, will you remember
The times of your life?
Of your life
Of your life
Do you remember, baby
Do you remember the times of your life?
(Tevye)
Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
(Golde)
I don't remember growing older
When did they?
(Tevye)
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he get to be so tall?
(Golde)
Wasn't it yesterday
When they were small?
(Men)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
(Women)
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears
(Tevye)
What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
Now they must learn from one another
Day by day
(Tevye)

They look so natural together
(Hodel)
Just like two newlyweds should be
(Perchik & Hodel)
Is there a canopy in store for me?

Great minds, Shira!
Trips down memory lane...
I was thinking of these songs recently when my niece had her Sweet 16th Birthday. *sigh*
And on THAT note... to bed I go.
Sweet dreams.

I have had "I Know Where I've Been" from the HAIRSPRAY soundtrack on repeat for . . . well, I think it just started its 18th or 19th play.
I'm obsessed.
You LOVE your divas, DG!

Funny you should say that, Shira Darling. I'm running up to Vegas on Saturday to fete on old friend for her birthday, and I just got us tix to Elton's show at Caesar's - talk about your divas!
And after that, we're going to see the Thunder From Down Under Australian boys strut their stuff.
Of course, we'll have a limo for the evening
Aussie boys a long way from home.
