Now I could really use a drink.
This great building in our quickly changing neighborhood has been sold. Until now, Oddfellows Hall has been the home to a very cool, restored ballroom, a dance organization with 3 dance studios, a theater school, and 3 small black-box theaters. Now the building has been sold to a developer known for buying old buildings and restoring them and turning them to condos.
So the good thing is that the building will be saved. The bad thing is that artists are yet again probably going to be kicked to the curb.
Where's that drink?

Did I hear a mention of Champagne? If there's one thing that trumps a martini, it's Champagne.

I just need to get enough money to buy a building and turn it into a sanctuary.

It's a good thing I don't like doughnuts.
It's a bad thing I like almost everything else.

My 'stuff' drawer in my desk currently houses a small box of Ritz crackers, a bag of Twizzlers, a small bag of Swedish Fish and an unopened box of Oreos.
I have GOT to get this junk out of here!
It's apple season. I need apples!
