BTW, today is J2's big zero-ending birthday. And he's stuck on jury duty. Poor schmuck.

But we're having a lovely Dovetail dinner tonight, and then leaving for London on Wednesday*.

*If they reach a verdict. Schmuck never told them he had plane tickets until after the trial started. How can someone so smart be so dumb? They're supposed to start deliberating tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, and J2's b'day present to me? I'm getting a dog, finally. Probably in the fall. He announced it in such a typical, J2 kind of way. He wants a Dyson vacuum-cleaner, and decided we'll need one that cleans pet hair.
