Sometimes that is for the better. You just come in and it looks fabulous.

I ended up buying it along with the serving cabinet. Now I get to spend 4 weeks second guessing myself.

And, looking for a new area rug!

We had a houseguest scheduled for weeks to arrive today. He called on Friday, claimed there had been a scheduling mishap by someone else, and asked to arrive yesterday instead. Then he showed up an hour earlier than arranged.

He'll be here til Thursday, if I let him live that long.

Intense day of re-writes yesterday. I started around noon, and didn't stop until "Pan Am" came on.

Boobs, J2 wears a size 11 shoe, just so you know. When he doesn't like something, and I do (like "Pan Am"), instead of leaving the room and watching something he does like on the other TV, he takes inordinate pleasure in squirming, sighing, and TALKING through it to distract me. So I may need a cautionary pair made, Boobs, just in case he pulls the same crap next Sunday night. They're gonna be in BERLIN!

It's looking more and more certain that our roof damage has led to water damage, which in turn has led to a mold infestation - possibly even seriously health threatening (not to mention necessitating the possible removal/replacement of a two-story chimney.)

This development, on top of an already precarious financial situation (compounded by starting this morning watching yet another market slide deplete our already insufficient portfolio,) may very well be the ton of bricks that breaks the camel's back.

In fact, I'm wondering if it might be easier to check ourselves into the loony bin now, and save others what is sure to be just a lot of time and trouble later on.

And by later I, of course, mean sooner.

As Crash so eloquently put it in BULL DURHAM, "F*CK the F*CKing game!"

Hi kids!

First of all: I don't even log-in to bww with the same email I use for facebook, so how the hell does it know it's me on the side bar? Ack! I hate this.

Stayed home today, feeling squishy. jS made some pre-marinated chicken last night and neither of us felt well all night, finally got to sleep at 4 am. Now trying to get stuff done for my website and stuff.

Deet - jS and J2 should hang out whilst we watch PanAm. Thankfully our tv is in the living room, so he just goes to bed.

DD, I just decided to start using a difference browser completely for FB, and use that Browser only for FB.

I just went nuts and bought some new area rugs as well. The ones I have are just about done after 4 years of the terrible clawed terrors.
