Morning peeps! 17 degress? Seriously? I should have stayed with my LS...she practically had to push me out of the car as it was. I had the bestest time ever!!! The weather just added to the good times! My flight home was non eventful, except it was delayed and the friend who was supposed to pick me up at Newark airport got sick. Luckily I had a prince in shining armor come and resue me on his white horse...okay it was Girly in her SUV, but I can fantasize can't I? Well back to work and the 100 emails I have to sift through. *hugs all around*
Poddie, I'm glad you like your pressies. I figured you could put them all to good use.
Caffeine drip, please.

I already screwed something!
I knew you would put your tool to good use!
Mornin'! I missed having coffee with my BB this morning.
And, coming back to work sucks too! LOL!
How was everyone's weekend?
*hugs LS* I miss you so much already. I got in this morning about 12:30. I hope you got my text. I walked in my house and stepped on a present Frankie left for me which had me washing my sneaker in the sink...just what I needed at that time. UGH! I emptied my suitcase. Put all the dirty clothes into the laundry basket, so that I can wash them tonight. I put my Keurig on its new stand I took 2 Tylenol P.M. and was in bed by 1:30...it wasn't fun waking up at 6 to freezing weather! BTW tell my SIL that it looks like my Amazon U.K. order has arrived. I was too tired to open it, but hopefully everything is in there.
I am kicking my self this morning for not listening to you and buying the pill pockets...Joop wasn't eating her wet food this morning with her meds...I'll stop after work at the pet store. Hoepfully they have them in stock.

I hate snow. Have I ever mentioned that I hate snow? I know it's still February, but I'm so over the shoveling and scraping. I must be getting old. Time to move to Florida. Move over, Shamey.
Good frosty morning, all!
And that is why the number one item on my house shopping list was a garage; not marble countertops, not a fireplace, not a pool ... nope, a big, warm, dry garage to put the car in each night. But, I still HATE snow!
morning.
Only 9:30am and I am already frustrated as hell. ugh. this cannot bode well for the rest of the day.
Glad the Boobs/Pinky visit went well.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Sorry to hear that, Tink. I don't envy you with that job.
Yeah, a garage, now there's a concept.
Moony, I happen to know someone selling a townhouse in Florida with a one car garage. Two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and an office/den that can easily be converted into a third bedroom.

Of course, I'm going to totally change my mind the first day there's heat and humidity. But that's, what? - a month from now?
Moony, it's a beautiful home. Just a heads up...it helps if you have a vet degree being the next door neighbor will be knocking on your door asking you questions when her dog is sick.
The first time I went to visit "the weatherman" in Tampa, I thought "why do all these houses have garages?" After the second visit I knew why -- you walk from the air conditioned house into the cool garage into the cool car, blast the air, pull into the dark parking garage and walk into the cool store/office building. Your hair frizzes and your arm pit stains appear in the two minutes it takes to walk from the garage to the store/office. It's a good thing he dumped me, because I could not have lived there beyond the twice monthly trips I made for two years.

And there are these freaky looking mutant ducks that inhabit your backyard there as well.

The Gaz's estate is still up for grabs -- four car garage -- only $3.9 mil.

If I were looking to spend $3.9 million, I'd buy a tiny studio apartment in NYC.
Coffee refill, please.
Somms, when you made the pizza dip with pepperoni, did you just put it on top or was it diced up in with the cheese? And did it make it overly oily or just a little bit?

Cuz, giggle!
Girly, I cut them into quarters and blended them into the cream cheese layer. It gets too oily with the pepperoni and the cheese otherwise.

Tinky is correct about those mutant ducks. Talk about the ugly duckling...these are the fugly ducks!!! I just got a chill up my spine picturing them!
Oh yea, the Panzanella salad I made for the Family Shames was a real hit!
My cellmate's husband doesn't like it. Says it needs meat. I had told her my friend had made it with pepperoni. Then I mentioned it would get too oily, so I had a feeling it was in the mixture. Tanks!
Oh and BD, if I'd been able to find a prince to fetch you at the airport, you know I would've!!

I don't know how I missed this earlier kids, but it's National Margarita Day!! Hola!
This would also be the time for me to shamelessly plug that Tastefully Simple has a new Margarita Drink Bucket premiering March 1st!
