Their last day of the year is April 14?! I knew they got out early, didn't realize it was that early.
And shouldn't they be in class?
You MUST take a pic of the car!!

Posted: 4/14/11 at 9:56amTomorrow is their sanctioned Senior Skip Day, then they have final exams next week. When we get back from Easter Break they spend a month OFF CAMPUS (YAY!!!) at internships. I haven't seen the car yet because we're solving inside problems. It seems there are a number of bathrooms that have tulips and daffodils growing in the the toilet bowls.

Posted: 4/14/11 at 9:59amDon't they have like two weeks of exams still? How the heck do they get in the building so early? Can you tell I'm bored with doing my Board minutes and needed a break?

Posted: 4/14/11 at 10:05amThe building is open very early because we have parents who drop their daughters off on the way to work and many have an early shift. The classrooms were all done by the time I got here at 6:50am. They have 3 days of exams - two exams each day.

I have this image of a very harried Moony conferring with an outwardly calm but inwardly seething Mother Superior who looks remarkably like Rosalind Russell.
Swimming again this morning - apparently, I have an aptitude for this. Who knew? An exercise I actually enjoy that I'm actually good at? I feel like quoting Shelley Winters in "The Poseidon Adventure:" "You see... In the water, I'm a very skinny lady!"
Of course she had a heart attack immediately after saying that...

I wonder if Moony started drinking yet.
And they seem to be advertising Matty's concerts every half hour on PLJ.

Taxes done.
IRA Rollover checks deposited.
Packing for trip...
Should I do it now, or wait and go into a frenzy tonight?
Tonight.

Finally gotr around to finishing federal yesterday. I had started it the beginning of February, but got disgusted/depressed when I realized wasn't getting as nice a refund as last year. Got back more last year due to buying the car. Little did I know I was so near the end, all I had to do was review it, pay and submit. Did state this morning.

I actually did mine a few weeks ago (even though I never did them last year...oops). I have never gotten much back ever so it is not something I ever rely on.
Yay for Matt concert adv. I havent heard it (or his new song... bad fangirl!). When I got my tickets I bought two and figured either by that time I'd know someone that wants it or sell if off to a random fangirl when it gets closer. Row B Orch should go quickly.

I don't usually get too much back, either. The car purchase made a difference of almost $500, though. Would've been a nice chunk of change for a little trip I gots coming up.
Row B Orch is excellent!

Honey, I'm hoooooome!
Taxes. Ugh.
Tinkerbell - you didn't do them last year?! LOL... good luck with that!
Big news in the TV world today. Good thing I've been hanging out in Genoa City for the last few decades.
Moony, those are some great photos. Our senior prank involved reassembling the world's largest Monopoly board in our Student Center.
Cheers to all.

Are the cows sad because they're up and posting so early in the morning?
Looking for a calmer day here today - who knows? Our Prom is tonight, with Post Prom Party to follow (midnight to 4:00am). I'm in charge of the prom and will head over to Post Prom for the first hour. Then, I'm making a "guest appearance" at hubby's school's Prom tomorrow night. Teens galore!
Good morning!

God bless you, my child. I love our parking lot on Friday mornings -- our building is next to THE bar for Thursday college night. Found a half a bottle of Beem in my parking spot. Children, no matter how drunk you are you NEVER EVER leave the hooch behind! There's at least a dozen cars in the lot -- which means that some of them were responsible and got cabs home. Oh, and
Good morning, all!

Posted: 4/15/11 at 8:17amMorning peeps! Glorious day yesterday in Asbury with a friend from down under. He had me looking at things differently...it's nice see a new found beauty in things you've seen so many time before, but never took the time to really study. Well one day off and my mailbox is ridiculous. Gotta run...hopefully I will see you all later!

*gasp* SOMMS, I hurt inside at the thought of orphaned liquor.
Morning.
Busy Busy, but what else is new? Cleaned and unpacked and hammered and baked and chopped and.... too much last night. But thats what i get for putting it off. Work people housewarming tonight and then my normal crew tomorrow night. I'm exhausted already, lol.
