Well ... considering that Seattle has grown by leaps and bounds in the past 10 years with people from out-of-state, I guess they all go back to wherever they are from for the holidays. My office is SO quiet.
*holiday twirls for girly*
Hey DD! What's a girl gotta do to get dipped around here?
I wish my office was quiet. It's insane. WHY!?!?!
Ah! Gotcha!
Yay twirls! *MWAH*
I need to get one of those Memory cards for the camera. Or so people have been telling me. I guess the one that came with it only holds about 9 pics.

They usually hold about 30, Girly, but you can get one that holds hundreds.
the resolution of the pictures you are taking effects quantity as well. lower res pics means you can take much more than high res. Depends on your needs. But for a general camera, a normal memory card can store a few hundred regular res pics.
Suggestion: always use the highest resolution available on your camera, even if they use more space. It never fails that the pix you want to print are the ones you took on low resolution; you can always lower resolution, but you CAN NOT increase it.
Shamey - when you least expect it.
Promises, promises.
So, you're going skiing next week? I wanna go! And, yet I'm kinda of scared of the whole tearing the sh*t out of knee thing.
Myth #1: you will break something when you ski.
Especially when you are beginning, and if you take a class and learn "the long way," you should be ok. I hurt myself when I started going off-piste and doing the crazy stuff.
Yeah, going on the 29th. Looking forward to it ... we've had over 20 inches in the past couple of days, and the winter storms just keep on coming. Woo-hoo!!!
Oh, I'm more afraid of the bad knee than of the slope, but I'll try it some day.
erm ... I have two bad knees and a broken back. Doesn't keep me from it.
Then again, I have never claimed to be sane.
sanity ain't got nuttin to do with it
Skiing, I would do. Riding a motorcycle. . never.
DD, I would've never pegged you as a lunatic.
What's the worst that could happen? I'd end up with matching scars on both knees.
You'll be fine, especially on the groomed slopes.
I'm with you on that, soapy. Found out that my godson wants a motorcycle. I told him I'll support him in anything he does, buy him whatever he needs, except I will not help him for anything having to do with the motorcycle. If he wants one, he buys it and takes care of it on his own dime.

SNOB!
I really need to read one of the 7 booklets that came with the camera.

"Gypsy, the great American musical, will return to Broadway starring Patti LuPone, the leading lady of the American musical theatre. Gypsy will reunite LuPone with co-stars Boyd Gaines and Laura Benanti."
There's not mention of you flying from FL to see it? How rude!
ONE of the seven books, girly? Oy!

Well, "shameless" was used in the Playbill article yesterday, so she was sorta mentioned. Kinda.
That's excellent that the other two have signed on! Now let's see how long it takes for a Benanti bashing thread to surface.
DD, two are in Spanish, so technically I guess I could say 5. I think two might be printer related, so now I'm down to 3. Seeing them all bundled up at first was quite intimidating, though!

I am of the "press this button and see what it does" school.
I do, too, but I'm also a "reader". I need to find out how to set the high/low res thingy.
