brd - we are just fine, good sir. Had our big holiday open house last evening, which went swimmingly, and now have until Friday PM to get things in order for our holiday guests. We have a full agenda arranged, with reservations at our favorite restaurants and trips to all the 'highlight' holiday destinations. Looking forward to a jam-packed, yet fulfilling, week-and-a-half - and then REALLY looking forward to the relative calm of an unscheduled new year (thus far )

We co-host a party on Saturday. 15 years of tradition. They do the food and we do the booze. Much fun!

Next year for me is finding the cash for high school tuition! (all worth it!)

I am starting my own tradition of Christmas Eve dinner. That's when we celebrate back home, so I figured I'd start having a dinner for friends on that night. Making my mom's traditional dinner: 3 meat lasagna.
