morning kids!!

I am waiting for some friends to come over so we can have breakfast and exchange presents. Then we have to go to PA and visit Chris's Step-Dad in the rehab center. They obviously can't come here for christmas dinner, so we will go to them. I just hate driving in the rain!! Oh well!

Oh - one of my dearest friends gave me an AMEX gift card with the strict instructions that it must be used on show tickets! yay!! :) My first "Broadway" gift in years!

It's dark and gray and heavily fogged over today. A perfect day to stay inside with the tree lights on and TCM on the tube. (All the shopping, wrapping, and baking are done so I can be a couch potato!)

I stopped for coffee and a bacon and egg sandwich before going to the gym this morning to get a little protein. A guy saw me and said "Hello"
"How's it going" I replied. "Well I'm not working late at the book store tonight.Johnny's gonna be pissed." I realized that I had no clue who this fellow is or who Johnny is. "My daughter's gonna be 2 1/2, I have to spend time with them," he went on. "Family is important is important," I said as the man handed me my food. "I'm sorry but whats your name again?" I asked him. "Joey" No bells its not some I forgot. I don't know him
"I'm Rich.Have a Merry Christmas." 'You too,' Joey said as I headed out the door.

DD, I stopped at the store to pick up a can of sliced pineapple. $106 later... Picked up some stuff for New Year's Eve though, so at least that's out of the way.
