We're having that blast of cold weather here, too - it's only 46 right now. We had record highs in the 70s all last week, but the temperatures dropped yesterday.

As Lucy Van Pelt said, "I never eat December snowflakes..." :)

Ooh! DD, I might have to take you up on that offer as well. I'm almost done with my list. As soon as I know what I'm shopping for I'm off. I've never been a great wandering-aimlessly-until-I-see- something-that-reminds-me-of-the-other-person kind of shopper.

It is SO much easier when you don't participate in the whole 'gift-giving' thing.

Of course, it would also be easier if you didn't have to haul out 40 crates of decorations AND the main tree!

I guess we all have our obsessions.

Online shopping and gift cards - it makes the whole experience much more pleasant.

And, normally I bake, but I did not want to break in the new oven with a batch of 40 dozen cookies, so I just bought See's candy for co-workers - friends will not be getting holiday tins this year - maybe next!

In some ways, with Hannukah coming so early, it made things a bit easier.

I actually enjoy getting the right gift, or gift card for the right person. My mom actually jumped up and down like a gleeful child when she opened her present, and my younger sister really liked her gift as well.
