Shira, why don't you take a "break" from school and work for a couple of years? Then you will have a much clearer idea of what you want to get a graduate degree in.
Well, the thing is, that after you are actually working and getting paid to do something in your field, you never really know the best route to take. If you go straight from school to school, it will only delay your joining the profession you want so to be a part of.
Besides, work experience can help you get into grad school, focus your course of study and even possibly assist in your getting a scholarship. Plus you'll be "helping fat kids" at the same time!
I know what I'm talking about because I lived it. I'm not trying to scold or lecture you.
You're scared. That's perfectly natural. You probably have no memory of "life before school." But it's not any worse on the "outside," really. And they pay you. Surely, you must like the sound of THAT!

Had the UC San Diego graduate school for International Relations been open, I might have considered that over law school. But, I was on the laws school track from grade school.
More than wishing that I had not gone straight into law school, I wish I had waited a few years until I bought my first condo.
I was so busy being responsible, that I did not get to have the fun I otherwise could have.
Well, I must admit, even though I was in grad school and had a faculty position at a university, I did have FUN! No matter how hard I try, I always seem to have FUN! Even when I'm miserable, I manage to have FUN!
