The weather has sucked here lately. We escaped to Idyllwild a couple of days ago, just to get out of the heat! It was overcast and 75 degrees up there - thank goodness.

Aw. Nicholas and his maybe girlfriend are eating Cornish Hens. I was just remembering them the other day. They're so cute. The hens, that is.

Work has been particularly ugly lately, and I got my property tax bill for my new place yesterday.

I knew it was coming, but I am going to try and get the place reassessed in a few months.

$3,600 for the first half. Jeeze. Thank goodness I can at least write it off.

Well, soon it is going to be out of season (if it is not already) so I am not sure what I will do!

I have gotten at least 30 pounds off (so I have been told). But, still another 20-30 to go.

Our internet was down at the office, an AT&T issue, my law partner who day trades was a freak show! I thought, go do some legal work!

Slow night at the Brd house, C15 is at a high school dance and Mrs. Brd is out with her mother and C13.
