Hello adults!

I do not really discuss these personal relationship matters with my friends or family, so I will post it here. A few weeks ago Mrs. Brd. and I had a late night "fight", she was pissed at me for some stupid thing, but it brought up a bigger issue and as a resolution of our “fight” I agreed with her position and complaints were more than legitimate. However, since then, I continued to ignore her requests and I realized over the weekend that I have been such a schmuck! At the minimum I have failed to appreciate the sacrifices necessary as a mother and a wife. I have been less than sensitive and I truly feel like an ass. It has been rare in my marriage that I feel like I have failed, but on this issue I have! (Yes, I have told her this many times in the last few days.)

I know that I have received enough off the cuff advice from here from MP and others, and should have been taken to heed. I am going to work on my own personal faults and also pay much more attention to the relationship of our marriage rather than focusing solely on the day to day details of work, school, homework, spots, etc. Mrs. Brd. deserves more from me! She really is the kind, loving, hard working, funny, talented and gorgeous woman that I have described here over the years.

There, this was my own personal penance. Thanks for reading.
