I'm not a sickie...yet...
*mumblegrumble*
Is the electrician cute, Hep?
It's a conspiracy. Nobody is posting anything, anywhere about Euan's shows.
Euan's journal entry cracked me up today. I can't WAIT to see him next week!

Alas, no, Girly.
They're only cute in movies and SOMMS' neighborhood.
I gotta see SOMMS' neighborhood.
Back from my nap, or cold killing attempt.
So, the stock market roared back today.
I wonder if folks will calm down now.
I hope that cold is feeling a little better, YWIW. As for the market, I its cold is better, too. Panic never helps.
Thanks hep.
The only good thing is taking my "cold naps" and waking up surrounding by my sleeping Zs. Zorra for a while would not come back on the bed when Zander was there, but now they seem to be doing much better. A few episodes of "kitty attacks" but also some sister/brother snuggling.
If the markets calm down, what that also means is that many of those troubled companies can be sold off in an orderly fashion, which will help everyone. For all I know, my company may be acquiring something. No one wants to do business in a panic.
I now know why my ears were burning ...
Great lunch and puppy kisses. Not sure what I'm doing the rest of the day - prolly doing laundry and cleaning apt this evening.
I can't believe after all the stress the past few weeks I managed to steer clear of a cold.
It is a great opportunity to purchase stock in decent companies without the ridiculous prices, though.
The companies are usually solid, it is the psyche of the markets that needs the attention. If only people would stop and think before going into debt. They really don't need a third car, a plasma TV a pool. If they saved for those things, fine. IF not, how silly. And as for finance companies who offer debt to people unable to service a loan... that is criminal. Once the companies refinance debt with more debt, everyone is in trouble. There is nothing left to hold up that particular house of cards.
Okay, I've squeezed some oranges for those who did not steer clear of this cold.
Hep, I agree with you 110%.
Which is why today I went shopping. And bought a leather jacket. For $4.32!! Go me!
Oh, and as for extravagant expenses? Round 2 with the plastic surgeon today. I'm gonna look HOT!

Thank you, darling Q. And I'm starting to discover that, even without the help of a surgeon.
Shira, we always knew you were hotness personified.
Hehe, I love how you know that, Hep!
It's the hotness vibe that transcends place and time.
Okay. Where are my Blithe Spirit peoples from the other day? Addy! Deet!
