I think I told you guys this already, but it always makes me laugh. I was in a North Carolina Wal-Mart recently and two guys walked past me. One says to his friend, "Target is just a French Wal-Mart!"
Oh, dear.
LOL, Miss P.

Was this the Outer Banks Wal-Mart? That is the only Wal-Mart at which I shop!
No, Brdy. It was "The Wal-Mart on the Other Side of the World" in Sylva. It was the ONLY store open after 10:00 PM where I could buy groceries. I did NOT enjoy it.
You mean it wasn't Piggly Wiggly?!
I so want to shop in a Piggly Wiggly one day.
RED ALERT! RED ALERT! Littler Sir just lost his first front tooth!!! He left the tooth for the Tooth Fairy with a note that asks for a photograph because he wants to know what she looks like.
Congrats for him! I would take a picture of a fairy princess and place it under his pillow.

Shira - I didn't read back, but assume you're home safely.
*sigh*
Next time . . .
Tomorrow afternoon I return to NYC. Next time, absolutely!

Oh. I wasn't sure when you were leaving.
I'm still in Colorado - but think I'll be returning home VERY soon! This is not going anywhere, and I have a life to lead . . .
I was actually in San Diego this past weekend. The TinMan and I had planned this getaway for awhile, and I just couldn't let it slip away (it was the first trip 'away' we had planned since our anniversary in March!) But, I just flew into San Diego, then flew out again. I didn't even get to see our puppy, which distressed me - I've been on a 'pet kick' ever since all the pet drama we've been having!
But I really just need to go HOME! My family crap is . . . well, what it is. And my continued presense isn't going to change a thing - unfortunately.
I miss the TinMan, and my life
Family is also who you choose, and we are here for you.
I'm glad you two got to have your vacation, even if it was rushed and not as pleasant as it should have been.
*hugs*

Oh, the vacation was WONDERFUL!
Of course, you might need to check with him, as it entailed HIM driving to San Diego, which I would have normally done
And I'm ALL about 'chosen family' at this point! I just count my blessings that I actually have a brother we both tolerate and actually LIKE!
The women, on the other hand . . .
Oy

Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Around 12:45 this morning, I bought tickets to see SP again in November just before Paulo leaves. There was only ONE performance that had 4 seats available. It was crazy!
Oh, and GOOD MORROW, fair knights and distressed damsels!
Mornin', Peeps!
I fell asleep watching the Olympics and slept through what was supposed to be the worst part of the storm. Guess it wasn't that bad.
