This stupid temp agency - I told them BEFORE I accepted this job that they needed to tell the client that I wouldnt' be able to work this Friday and next as I have acting jobs - they assured me that was fine with the client.

As I just reminded my supervisor (client) that I wouldn't be in tomorrow, he told me he never was informed of that. Jesus Christ.

My original thought was that my mother would arrive this evening, and then she could help me get some stuff done (which WAS originally HER suggestion.) However, she just called me from the airport in Denver to say that she was too excited to wait, so she had her friend take her early - AFTER he fixed her a mid-day cocktail. Did I mention she was calling from the smoking lounge at the airport - where you HAVE to order a drink to be in there? THEN she said she might as well keep the trend going and have a drink on the plane.

This is NOT what Whistler had in mind.

Oh, but I do love my 'Auntie Mame' of a mother.

This is going to be an interesting weekend.

This is kind of fun. I feel like the circle has been completed - we have now all officially met.

This is my 'calm before the storm' - I go to pick up my mother in an hour. And then our other guests are coming over.

I am home BEB..it took me almost 2 hours to get home. Luckily we got out of the tunnel before they closed 3 of them..it was insane !!! Now I'm home and it's thundering and lightning all around me...fun !!!!
