I just found out that a very close friend lost her mother last night unexpectedly.

It really is making me wonder what's going on when so many are having these very real traumatic experiences. I feel almost guilty (almost) for having the extraordinary life experiences I am right now. At the least, I feel I need to 'spread the joy' a little bit!
