Should've listened to my instinct and not bothered leaving the house. Took me 1/2 hour just to get a few miles, cars sliding all over the place. I turned around and came back home. Not dealing with 287 in this mess, especially since I still have the rental car.

Nerves are great now that I'm back home, safe and sound. I know I wanted snow, but my stipulations are that it snows enough that everything is shut down and we have no choice but to stay in! Someone didn't get my memo!

good morning! Schools are closed today, thanks to the ice storm, but ALL administrative offices are open. I waited until 10:00am to head in.......
