Good afternoon, adults. I'm hoping this wet stuff falling from the sky ends REAL soon. If all goes well, I'll be heading for NY early tomorrow and I hate the thought of carrying an umbrella all weekend. 2 whole days there will be like taking a tonic.

... now I'm thinking about gin and tonic.

I'm fine. I had a wonderful holiday but I'm glad it's over and things can get back to their normal boringness. (I appreciate boring). How's things down your way? (Aside from the dry)

That sounds good. This is going to be an odds and ends dinner for me. I've really got to get off my tush and get ready to go tomorrow. I have physical therapy at 7 am and then I'm leaving for the train station. So anything I take will go with me to the session. I've really got to start moving....

We're going to see THE COLOR PURPLE again tonight (saw it once already in NYC.) Owing to my current frame of mind, I'm thinking I may want to take some Kleenex with me.

On a total high tonight - just got back from "Jersey Boys." Wow. Loved it! Even jS - who thinks musical theater is the lowest form of entertainment - loved it. Oh what a night ...
