Good morning all. I got side tracked by 229 emails from last week. Yipes!

I was a Weblo, Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and an Eagle Scout. I think my Cooking and Sewing Merit badges make me a Girl Scout by default.

You betcha DG! And, a mighty colorful sash it was! The funny thing was, I was always a Gay Scout. I planted a rose garden after cleaning up a local park for my Eagle and it made all the local papers. Gay, Gay, Gay!

Hello strangers! Just checking in to let people know that I'm still alive. No excuses...just life!! The good news is I'm actually in New York right now. My husband is here with me and I have dragged him to see three shows in two days. He's not really a show person but he is enjoying himself I think. We saw Young Frankenstein, Wicked and Sunday in the Park with George. All were very enjoyable. Today we are going to a David Letterman taping. Tomorrow home. I have missed all BWW'ers and I hope to be around more now that the holidays are over and life gets back to "normal". Hope things are going well with everyone.

SOMMS - when we went to do outdoors stuff with my brownies troop, I was always to one trying to climb, build, make fire, etc. while the rest of the girls screamed at the site of a worm. My brother's boy scout troop always wanted to have me join, because I could kick their butts in most of their drills/exercises! The mixed up lived we lead.

I never made it to girl scouts - they descriminated against us catholic school girls, so I only got to wear the dirt brown color uniform.

Addict! I missed you before. Was wondering about you recently. Glad all's well.

Her hair was amusing me so much. I love how her little tongue's peeking out.

That's weird, Tink. I went to Catholic School and our meetings were held on the school property in one of the buildings the church owned. I enjoyed Girl Scouts. Course that might have something to do with the fact that me and a couple others were the ring leaders in our particular troop. I quit at one point, missed it after not going for a couple weeks, and wound up going back. Campouts were the best!

lol, actually, it was because we didn't have enough girls in our school interested in continuing a girls scouts troop about time I was of age. My father contacted the troop at the local public school in town and they told my father I would have to pay all of this money, and even at that they didn't want us catholic school people to join. But these public school kids were allowed to attend our church youth group activities, and I was able to play all the same town sports together, but no girl scouts. My father was not a happy camper.
