Thanks Hep. I feel like it could be a valid way to spend an afternoon.
That's interesting, Baddy, because every time I have heard a song from SA, I've hated it!
Maybe we can do ITH together.
In the Heights together would be great or anything for that matter. Maybe you should go see SA with me. I'm not sure why I love it..who cannot love a song titled Totally F**ked! lol
I still haven't seen SA...
But I keep meaning to.
I have been listening to XM Radio for the past few months because it has come in every rental car I've had (including the one in California for the past 2 weeks.) I was happy about being able to hear the score to SA because I thought, "Maybe this will make me want to see the show." But I have not liked one single song. I bet Mr. T and I agree on this one!!!
I need to listen to the radio more...
I need to get the heck out of the office!
I need to draw up my list of shows and movies I want to catch before they close!
Hi Addy - I will have an extra ticket for SA when I am in NY. I just have to call and set up the date. My daughters both loved it.
Miss P - You are definitely right about T not liking that one. I don't even try to play it for him. He does like Jersey Boys and of course Godspell. I do play it for my teenaged granddaughters...don't tell their mother.
It would be rather frustrating to live in NYC and not have the time to enjoy all of the advantages.
You definiitely need to get out of that office more, Addy. Say, for a WEEKEND GETAWAY!!!!! (ahem)
And Baddy, forget IN THE HEIGHTS with me and the kids because there are NO discounts available (I just checked) and I don't want to buy full-price tix for a show they already saw.
But I haven't seen [title of show] yet. I'd suggest Young Frankenstein, but I want to wait until Beth is in it.
Hi bway! Are you joining the festivities the weekend of July 19th?
Baddy, you are so "young." I'm an old stick-in-the-mud. (Although I LOVED Next to Normal, which has a very contemporary score. So, maybe I'm not as dull as I think. )
Yes, Addy, I will be there..can't wait. I'm there from the 19th to the 24th and have tickets for DY and South Pacific. I have 2 SA ticket that were not used in Sept that I need to use. I'm trying to fit in as many shows as possible.
Miss P - I understand that train of thought. Our friend Mike M told me almost 2 years ago to see Title of Show and I did when it was off broadway. That was the day I lost my wallet so I did not enjoy it as much as Mike thought I should. I was thinking of seeing it again. T and I saw Young Frankenstein in Jan. I thought it was a lot of fun. I thought of you when I saw that Beth was going to be in the show.
Miss P, dull? Perish the thought!

Hi Addy, MP, Addict and GH:
I love SA, it is a little bone of contention (nice old metaphor) between me and Mrs. Brd - I asked for one thing for my 40th last year - to go to NY and see SA and the kids in Rent. "No time" was the response!
Michele Ragusa, who was an absolute SCREAM in Adrift in Macao is also joining the cast, but not until August 5. I'd love to see her, too. (She's taking over for Megan Mullally.)
What else is there to see?
Why, Miss P - what a GOOD idea! A weekend getaway!
Addict, I can't wait to see you! (I hear that Kelli O'Hara is out of SOUTH PACIFIC a few of those days... hope you catch her. I think she's a dream!)
Hi GH. When can we expect YOU for a Broadway weekend?!
Hi brd! I think you need to make those NY plans!
Brd - It's your birthday - go by yourself. I love NY by myself. Well, I do really love seeing other BWW'ers however. And I too love SA.
Well, Miss P, I have not seen Little Mermaid which is a possibilty. Is 39 Steps still there? Will Patti still be in Gypsy? I still haven't seen Rent. I will find things to see.
Addy I too heard about Kelli being gone but I am not seeing it until the 23rd and I think she is back the 22nd. I hope because I love her.

Addy, sage as usual! Tell Cookie hello!
I haven't seen Boeing, Boeing either. The kids won't see LITTLE MERMAID again. (Little Sir did not enjoy it. Why? And I quote: "it didn't have 'The Aldolpho Song' in it.")
Too bad SITPWG is gone.
I know I would have loved to see that again. I saw Mandy Patikin in concert here in AA on Saturday. It was so good and I loved hearing the SITPWG songs. I also talked to Byrnn's mom yesterday and she is steadily employed for the next year most likely with a few different things.
Good timing, Addict!
brd, I will gladly tell Cookie you say hello.
I haven't seen Boeing, Boeing, either, Miss P. I am SO behind!
I would love to have a Broadway weekend with the adults. It'll have to wait for about a year, I'm afraid.
Wish you could join us Hep. Australia is such a long trip. World Youth Day is in Australia this year. We have gone to the last 2 in Toronto and Germany but not this one..too far and too much $.
Well, Miss Addy, there's also the weekend of August 1 that we're in town, so if you are a little more free, maybe we can see something together.
I'm totally baffled about what to do with the kids the weekend of July 18. Now I feel bad that I didn't get them tickets for Damn Yankees. They adore that show!
Maybe we'll see Mary Poppins again.
Has anyone seen Fuerzabruta?
HEP, you are depriving us! It's bad enough that Baddy hasn't been in town since January! Why must you both torture us so???
Miss P, I will do my utmost to work things out.
Hep, I eagerly await the time... whenever it may be!
Ladies and gentlemen, I bid you good night. To bed, to bed, to bed I go...
Sweet dreams, all.
