The best tea parties always are, D2.
LOL! Many people would love to see that!

"Perfect for Mr. DG."
Yes, it is
I'm glad you like.
Heretic moment #425: jS did not like Mary Poppins. Still pondering that one.

Actually, I think I'd like to have tea WITH the penguins, and be served by porn stars - but that's a minor quibble.
I hated Mary Poppins when I was little. The movie, not the character. I didn't fall in love with it until I watched it with my nieces a couple of years ago.
I loved it when I saw it. In the movie theater. In the original run. I was 4, and I remember it vividly.

The TinMan can't stand her - he thinks she's mean.
We've agreed not to discuss it.
Shamey - jS feels the same way. He liked her, just not the movie.
I loved it when I saw it as child, and still do.
I thought she was pretty cold in the beginning, but then I realized it was all an act.
Spit. Spot.
Tea party?
That's what I don't understand when they always talk about Julie Andrews' "sugary Mary Poppins" image. She's so NOT sugary in that movie - she's rather no-nonsense and at times downright cold. That insufferably sweet image came from THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

"That insufferably sweet image"
Which was deliciously flushed in S.O.B. when she showed us her boobies
... and which I have never seen.
Oh, DD, that looks SO delightful!
Feeling festive today.
As you should! It's Friday. And Summer!
And sunny! And warm! And I'm going out for sushi at happy hour!

Sad. So, so sad.
Oh well. I'll go to Xanadu and stage door DY. Or something.
It's a sad, sad, situation
And it's getting more and more absurd ...
Don't despair, deeg. It's a fun show, and I'm sure there's a great u/s.
