We'd been going back and forth with e-mails for birthday ideas for his wife, and I come in this morning to an e-mail from him on that. Then he writes that he's in Manhattan at a training class, staying in Times Square and hanging out at John's Pizzeria. Did I know he was coming in? Do I have any idea how long he's here for? Nope, no clue. We could've gotten tickets to something or other or even just met up for drinks/dinner. Maybe since we just saw each other a few weeks ago, he didn't think.
