I'd love some Dottie. My families favorite cake recipe is a triple chocolate concoction that we all affectionately call "Elbow Cake". Named in homage of the car trip to a birthday party when my fidgety 3 year old brother put his elbow into the center of the cake resting cautiously in my sister lap.

Sounds delicious SOMMS. This was an almond butter cake with lemon filling with a vanilla butter cream. I'm thankful I also made a lemon pound cake, so they'll never know that there were supposed to be two cakes.
