Is Shira getting kick out of the adult thread this early?
hey no picking on shira
I smell manure.
and i smell old spice whats your deal =P
Old spice does bring back lots of memories. I remember my Uncle putting it on on his way out on a date. I still love that smell...his other favorite was British Sterling. Either of those scents remind me of him...he was like a Dad to me.
can't stand it
a manager in macys, in gainesville where i worked, used to wear it everyday, and tons of it too, so when ever i smell it all i can think of is bad brush overs
Good Morning!
Hey, be nice to Shira, I like not being the baby around here.
*hugs shamey* Shira started it..she should know better than to comment on age on this thread...we'll have her banned from coming in here if she doesn't watch her step. Will see who's sassy then !!!
Good morning...
Boobs - remember all the avon cologne bottles - in shapes like cars and other 'guy' things?
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I've got a meeting this morning and then will be out of town overnight. I'll think of lots of other things for our trips down memory lane.
And, I'll be happy to make a compilation CD. With copies for all. I think it's a GREAT idea! We can come up with different 'lists', and have a complete set!
Mix tape. I'm making you all a mix tape!
Morning Addy..I still have some of those cars. My Mom would buy them for us for Christmas. I still remember those smells. My favorite womens scent from Avon was Sweet Honesty...a friend of mine would wear it and until this day when I smell it I think of her.
Scents. So personal and conjur up such memories!
Wishing everyone a wonderful day! Keep those song ideas coming!
My mother always used Skin So Soft. I loved the smell of it.
I associate English Leather with my dad. Is that still around? There was one other one that I can't recall. I don't remember a scent for my mom.
I used to use Sweet Honesty. I also liked Love's Baby Soft.

Goodmorning Adults - Wow, you guys have been busy! I've been back physically a couple days now from my lake vacation but it's taking me awhile to get back mentally. I had a great time but with a few glitches...power outage from storm, swimmer's itch from the ducks pooping in the lake, teenage grandkids being irritating but overall had a great time. Speaking of skin-so-soft...after everyone got swimmer's itch, we were told to use skin-so-soft before going in the water and that would prevent the bites. You guys are so good at remembering music.. I only remember when I hear it, but that compilation CD sounds like a great idea!
My Mom liked Chanel #5 for special occassions. I remember buying her a small bottle on the plane from Paris to Rome. Her signature fragrance was Charlie and sometimes she switch to Jontue.
I LOVE Baby Soft! My cousin, Montana, had it when we were kids, and we would put it on our stuffed animals.
Morning wyou...your DVD is all done. I stayed up later than I intended to last night to make sure it was done for you.
Hey Addict...sorry about your bites, but all-in-all sounds like a fun vacation...welcome back.
Boobs, Chanel #5 was my Mom's signature fragrance! My dad would buy her a big bottle every year for her birthday.
SO SOMMSY..our Moms smelled the same too...need I say more Pod partner?
Thanks Boobs...Now I'm waiting for grandchild #7 to be born..could be any day now. Haven't had a baby in the family for 8 years. Don't know whether it's a boy or a girl. Also, send some positive thoughts to my daughter who is taking the Michigan bar exam as we speak. She passed the Massachusetts bar last year but then decided to move back to Michigan. She's been studying so she should be okay. The crazy thing is she won't know until November and really can't work as a full lawyer until then. Of course the issue with this is money money money!!!
Welcome back, addict!
wyou, leave it to the two of you to do that.
Boobs, I gather your mom was a young and hip mom, since I also used Jontue and Charlie in my teens!

Sending all good vibes to Addict's daughter....I'm sure she'll do fine.
Girly..yes my Mom was hip...like us she loves scents.
My signature cologne through out HS and college was Jovan Musk for men....I think I need to find me a bottle to bring back some memories.

Addict, we used skin so soft as bug repellant in the 70's! Thoughts to your daughter! Bar exams??? Do not give me nightmares!
I wore lots of Polo as a teenager.
English Leather was the hip cologne when I was in high school!
