DD, hi there!
How's it going? Haven't chatted in a while...
I know. I think we keep missing each other during the day. I'm around just not posting as much, but everyhting is great. How are you?
Doing great. Annie opened this weekend, and that was a lot of fun. The kids are great. Have this week off, then have auditions next Sunday for my next show.
I'm also picking up my AIDSWalk fundraising this week. So keeping busy.
Sorry Shameless--that was directed more towards the adults on here I know well
OK, wrq, I'll let it go this time!
DD, that sounds great! Good luck with the fundraising.
Btw, I showed my nieces Annie yesterday for the first time, and they loved it. They wanted me to play it over and over again, but I was mean and would one let them watch the musical numbers over and over again.
Wow... a real life Ms. Hannigan!!!
I've received lots of compliments from people... especially for Hard Knock Life. I'm hoping someone will record it for me.
DD - you have to increase your goal on your AIDS Walk site!
I did Y!!! Today, and I've almost reached it again.
As well as I'm doing, it makes me sad to see that the total raised so far is a little over $100,000, and the goal is $850,000. I hope the push in the last month gets us up there.
I am just glad I donated before I got this month's electricity bill, oy!
But, Go DD, Go DD, Go DD.
OMG... have to share... just looked out the window, and we're having the most beautiful sunset. Mt. Rainier looks orange and blue. *sigh* This is why I love this city.
Enjoy it, DD, I have to get some sleep. I'll try to catch up with ya tomorrow.
'nighty night, shamey.
only yesterday
when I was sad
and I was lonely...
Late night working... listening to the Carpenters, and thought of my fellow adults.

Thinking of the adults while listening to Karen is perfect
now listening to Eva Cassidy. *sigh* Another beautiful voice silenced too soon.

We're ALL silenced too soon, honey!
Good morning kids! It's already in the high seventies here so, frozen coffee drinks for everyone today. Perhaps some watermelon for breakfast to keep it light. Don't forget to drink lots of water!!!!!!

Morning all. Huge hugs for SOMMS!! Remebering to pack an extra water bottle for the day.
Morning all !!! Iced coffee...great idea.
Good morning all! Fruit for breakfast today. I didn't even want to toast a bagel.
Everybody take good care of yourselves this week. When you're home, take a bottle of water and pour half of it out. Take the half that's left and put it in your freezer. In the morning, before leaving home, take it out and top it off with more water. Keep that block of ice and cold water with you today - you'll need it!
Morning everyone. Have a great dfay. And drink LOTS of water. I know I will be forsaking my 3 millin diet cokes in favor of water today.

It's a scorcher already and I've got lots of liquids lined up.
How can anyone experience this heat wave and not think about Global Warning. I spoke to someone this past weekend who still thinks that it's all just a political agenda and doesn't have any real basis. "Besides, how can my not owning an SUV help..."
I wanted to smack her but I refrained. Instead I pointed out that it starts with just one person...but a lot of folks (who are just one person) united in an effort can bring about change.
I'm gonna go refill the ice cube trays in the Serving Area.

Good morning! Feeling like a toasted bagel already. Blazing hot (100 today) and there are two overturned 18 wheelers on the Beltway, adding an hour to everyone's commute. Not a good way to start the day.
Is it vacation time yet?
