Oh... yeah... I guess I didn't word my post correctly.
That image was also featured in our sustainability newsletter in May. Got lots of compliments.
Beautiful, Undi.
I'm there at least once a weekend in August...
Shira!
*flying higgle attack on DD*
*weee*
You ambushed me cookie!
hidden from behind the desk too!
Hi, Cookie.
Hi, DD.
Hey Dottie!
How are you surviving the heat down in DC?
So far so good. I only have to deal with it on my way to work and on the way home, so I'm inside (still at work) with the air conditioning. Though I'm usually drenched just waiting for the bus!!
How are you dealing?
Did I see a flying higgle?
I'm still hiding at work too, Dottie.
I'm dreading the commute...
*squishes Hepster* You did indeed!
I tell ya people... Seattle!!! 75 degrees is the norm during August. Plan your Seattle trips for this time of year.
I'm off...
Back to work (dinner break over).
Have a good commute home. I'll be here until about 9.
Or south of the equator...
With that said, I need to start the commute home...
Enjoy your evenings adults!
Congratulations DD!!! You've beaten your THIRD goal!

Hey there, brd - late night for you? Hope you're staying cool and that all is well with the family.

My cheap thermometer shows 88 at 11:33. We are fine. The family was at a friend's pool today! C12 had a sports camp this evening with no A/C.
How are you?

Boy, I'm so thankful our heat wave broke - and I'm sorry for all of you experiencing it now!
Things here are ducky. The TinMan's getting ready to open TWELFTH NIGHT, and I'm getting ready to leave the next day for a quick run to Colorado. I'm headed into the mountains, so I'm expecting some lovely high-country summer weather there!

How is your sister? Where in CO are you going?

Hmmm - my sister and I are experiencing a transition in our relationship - and it's not going very smoothly. Eventually, I suppose we'll come to terms, but there has been a definite shift in the foundation. She continues to deal with her reality - obviously greatly influenced by her widowhood - but it's not progressing as smoothly as many would hope.
I'm going to start in Glenwood Springs, but actually stay in Rifle - with a bit of a side trip to Aspen. All of which are my old 'stomping grounds'

If she shows up at the gathering that's the reason I'm going, yes. But we probably won't talk about what's going on between us. It's far too complicated and involved for that scenario. I know I won't be stopping at their place in Denver - either coming or going. Just not up for what might ensue.
And no, this doesn't make me very happy.
