I wasn't gonna say anything, I swear!
Morning, all! Hope you're staying warm.
Hey Shamester. I'm trying, but sitting by this wall of windows isn't really working for me.
I want my 30 lbs. back.
Are you wearing your thermals?
I am, actually, and they kept me warm outside along with my coat, but inside, thermals and a sweater, and I'm coooooold.
Bummer! Now, that you're so skinny, you need more layers.
Or more food.
ETA: Building super is up here now working on it. YAY!
Good morning everyone! My fingers are still frozen. It looks like the heat hasn't decided to kick on in my office yet...brrrrr! I brought a cup of hot tea in and the amount of steam coming off the top would make you think it was on fire!
Mmmm, fire...

You misunderstood my castigation, DG. I'm referring to the poolside report we usually get in the morning. I (of all people) would never make light a weather tragedy.
Well, Moony, you know you have an open invitation to come sit by the pool with me anyday.
Morning adults. Back at work after a week in NYC. And it's the Artic outside!

Ha, yeah, it might not be the best pool day, but we can sit and relax at the Tiki bar.
I am guessing it's a better pool day there than here and in DC.
True.
Hi Carl! How was your trip?
Wonderful and life changing. Saw 4 shows in 6 days. All I can say if Julie White and Christine Ebersol don't go home with TONYs it will be a crime.
Oh my God, I love Julie White to the heavens and back.

Sorry to have started the day with negativity - it's been removed.
Julie White was incredible in Little Dog....or as my girlfriend calls it "Tom Everett Scott's Waxed Sack"
That was just two hours of Julie White spitting hot fire. She must have to sleep between performances. But wow what a tour de force.
I've seen it twice, and would see it ten more times if I could, just for that performance. It's one for the ages!

Loved, loved, loved Julie White. It was truly a great piece for her.
Not to worry, DG. I just assume that you're not aware of what happened to my family in Katrina. All's well!
Was pleasently surprised by Gallecki too. Didn't know he had done so much Chicago stage work since Roseanne but I defintly enjoyed his performance. What I liked was a director and designer who understood how Beane's scripts have to be staged and how they flow like a film. Any time I've seen someone take on Bees In Honey....they murder it with blackouts and set changes. Julie had me hooked the minute she opened her mouth with the Breakfast speech. I need a published version of this script!
