Hi all! Fun day here today - Tartan Pride Day. The cast & crew of our production of ALC made me a t-shirt with "Mrs. O - One Singular Sensation" to wear today (we're all wearing school t-shirts). Early dismissal today, too! I'm loving this Friday.

Today is my mother's birthday. She and my step-father have both had heart surgery within the last 3 months, so it's kind of a special celebration - simply because they're both still around! They've come over from Scottsdale to Palm Springs because I got them tickets to Julio Iglesias tonight (she's always liked him.) I'll be heading over there to spend the day with them, then take them to a special dinner and then the concert.

Then, I'll come back tomorrow to get us together (as much as possible ) because we leave Sunday for San Francisco and Mendocino.

Retired life has its advantages!
