I thought he was very good... very vulnerable.
It's funny... but I hadn't heard that entire monologue in a while. When I last performed in the show, we were all backstage (read: below the stage) during it. So it was nice to see it again.

Hiya, Moony!! I'll be over a friend's house tonight. Go there every year. Amount of people can range anywhere from 8 to 25. I think it'll be on the small side this year, though who knows. Every time she calls me, there's more food added. I was requested to make pizza dip. At the rate she's going, we'll be scouring the streets for people to come in and eat all this food!! Wanna come over?
We usually play a bunch of board games in between eating and drinking. Winners get silly little prizes. I went the other day to pick those up. I wrap them in the scraps of left over Christmas paper, so people don't know what they're actually getting. That's usually my New Year's Eve excitement.

Actually, pretty much the same. Two pot-luck dinner parties to attend. I'll bring a side dish to the first, a dessert to the second, since I won't get there until @ 10:30. These are all old friends - some I've known for 30 years. Sadly, many of us don't see each other much anymore throughout the year and New Years Eve is like a big reunion.

What a fantastic way to bring in the New Year! Robbie's show was great. So much fun... then went to another bar and welcomed the year with Addy and Cookie, and got to meet the ever so charming Mr. Varley himself. What a treat!
