Thanks sweetie. I miss you too. I keep hoping that one day we'll both be in NY at the same time. (I'm always missing you!)

I tried to do the angels for January, adding some of the guys. I was only able to add about 10% of all the guys I found and it was still very long. I admit to giving up. I'll see if I can find it and clean it up and maybe post it this month. I'm just not sure I can keep it up. Adding the boys has really added to the work!

I've been real busy at work, not only staging the whole apprentice show which we're taking to the Dorothy Chandler in March but also choreographing a closer for the entire apprentice company. It's a nice challenge.
I had lots of fun in the city working with the Balanchine Trust on APOLLO. I also saw opening night SLEEPING BEAUTY in Peter Martins seats! Mary Poppins was special. I thought THE APPLE TREE was real sweet and I'm starting to get haunted by GREY GARDENS. Why wasn't Sara Gettelfinger in the Broadway version? She's on my recording.

I think a lot of people thought she, despite her enormous talent, was miscast in the role. I even spoke to a good friend of hers who felt strongly that way. I didn't see her myself so I couldn't say.

It seems implausible that Mamie was referring to me as a 'sweet boy'

but on the off-chance she was, we've been just DANDY. Had a fabulous holiday season, and have been enjoying the vacation at home after our lengthy time away. There's some exciting things on the very near horizon, and we're anxiously awaiting to see what these next doors lead to.

Hope all is well with everyone here.

I'm trying - but they ain't here yet. I can guarantee that when I do, I'll get criticized for the one's I've left off and for the pics I've chosen. (eg - I found a stunning pic of the muscular and nude Burt Lancaster. It's gorgeous and completely clean but it won't be on the post. I didn't use those pics of the ladies (of which there were many) and I won't use them for the guys.

The TinMan and I have an appointment in a couple of weeks with one of the associate producers at Mandalay Productions to discusss what's available for Robert right now, and which direction to head as far as representation and long-term committments. An exciting and freeing position that has come about because of the TinMan's exemplory past and perfect track record. He not only has never burned any bridges, he's left them stronger for having crossed them.

Oh, and we found out he was already enrolled as a member of AFTRA, and so now, with even one project (because of the sister-union status) he can immediately join SAG
