I can't believe I've only skied once this season. One of the best seasons in recent years, and I have skied once. I might take my birthday off and head to the slopes that day.

I don't ski glades (tree runs), so no worries there. And I don't play football, so not pulling a Kennedy either.

DD - I have NO doubt that coming down is great fun - it's the getting to the top that's a deal breaker for me - heights are a NO-NO for me Now, if they used a tow-rope, MAYBE . . .

DG - I saw your note about hanging around the lodge while DD skis. I told him that when I was working, I joined the ski club and went on all the ski trips they organized each season. Only I refused to put on skis after the first time. Going down a mountain on my face was NOT my idea of having fun. Making sure that the fire was stoked and the peppermint Schnapps were ready was just my style.

My 1 and a half hours sleep is catching up with me.
